The city has one of the greatest natural reserves in the island. The place counts with a mangroves swamp and a variety of endanger species of birds, sea turtles, crabs, between others. The Natural Reserve can be visit for ecotourism and kayaking and it has a lagoon.There is lot of natural beauties to explore in the reserve area. There are many endemic flora along the region.
